The Central Virginia Cattlemen Association is a beef cattle marketing association based in Central Virginia. CVCA provides beef cattle producers with education and marketing information to help optimize their beef cattle production.

The association was formed in 1998 and is based in Orange, Virginia. The Central Virginia Cattlemen Association currently has over 240 producers.

News and Announcements
2015 CVCA Dues

Annual dues are $50 for all producers.  Dues are paid for the calendar year and are not pro-rated. Only producer members in good standing can purchase supplies at CVCA discount prices, participate in CVCA sponsored sales, etc.  You may also pay for your Virginia Cattlemen Association (VCA) dues at the same time you remit payment for your CVCA dues and you will receive a $20 discount off the annual VCA fee.

CVCA Mineral Order Due by Thursday, March 5, 2015

​The new mineral prices are in the Document Library on this website for January 2015 to June 2015. The mineral bid was awarded to Renaissance Nutrition, Inc.  The next mineral order and payment are due Thursday, March 5, by 4:30 p.m. with delivery to Glenmary Farm or Lee Durrer Farm on Thursday, March 12 between 12 noon and 1:00 p.m.

The next CVCA meeting and beef producer program will be held at the Gordonsville Fire Hall on Monday, March 16, 2015. The Fire Hall is located at 301 East Baker Street, Gordonsville, VA.
